Gloucestershire IT specialist Systematix to move to Meteor Business Park

IT support specialist Systematix is moving its Operations Centre from the Cirencester office which has been its home for the past nine years to new premises at The Lancaster Centre, Meteor Business Park, Staverton.

The company, which celebrates its 20th birthday next year, has taken on its new, larger base to allow more room for its expanding operations and to improve access to the county’s main traffic routes. The move takes place on 1st June.

“We’ll have more room for our technical operations, more spacious meeting rooms and more capacity for development” says founder and managing director Martin Constable. “The new offices are within easy reach of the M5, Gloucester Airport and the main county railway stations. We’ll be even better placed to continue to offer a superb service, by phone, on line or in person according to the client’s preferences.”

Systematix’s staff have been recruited for their people skills as much as their IT background, so clients aren’t baffled by technical jargon. They provide support to local and regional businesses typically ranging from 10 to 250 users. As a Microsoft Partner, the company has access to a wide range of Microsoft products and expertise. In the coming months the company aims to extend the scope of its current support services to include the world of Mac-based computing.

While the firm is centred in Gloucestershire, its clients range across the southern half of the UK, from Birmingham to Plymouth and from Bristol to Oxford, London and Gatwick. Client businesses include local government, training, estate agency, ship repair, construction management, charities, market research, milk production, refrigeration and property investment.

Systematix provides a range of IT services including network design and installation, network monitoring and management, desktop support, local and off-site backup, multiple site connectivity and digital telephony.

Its range of support services is designed to ensure companies can recover as quickly as possible from IT disasters such as system failures, break-ins, data loss and cyber attacks.

“More and more businesses rely on computers so heavily that the IT system doesn’t just support the business - it IS the business” says Martin Constable. “The company that doesn’t make proper provision for the eventuality of a system crash is staring disaster in the face.”

The company has also just launched a new website, created by Now Media in Cheltenham.
