Riverford Organic which specialises in the home delivery of organic food has opened a warehouse at Waterwells Business Park in Gloucester.

Alder King Property Consultants let Unit C8 Brunel Court at the business park to Riverford Organic on a five-year lease.

Robert Holley, graduate surveyor at Alder King, said: "Riverford Organic required a warehouse in an established commercial location to make it easy for their suppliers to reach them, and with good transport links to allow them to deliver to customers across the county.

"Waterwells Park met these requirements. It is an established business park and is 1.5 miles north of Junction 12 of the M5, providing fast access for Riverford to the motorway network."

Riverford Organic provides home delivery services across the UK providing a range of organic fruit, vegetables and meats. The company is supplied by a network of farms and it claims to deliver about 47,000 boxes of organic produce a week.
