Gloucestershire-based manufacturer Advanced Insulation is set to move to a new £1.9m headquarters at Quedgeley West Business Park in Gloucestershire, following its acquisition of a 31,000 sq ft office unit.
Advanced Insulation manufactures fire resistant coatings for use in the oil and gas, subsea and defence sectors.
Advanced Insulation employs 40 people. But the company said it is hoping to create up to 30 new jobs after it has relocated early in 2011.
Work on the new premises will include the fitting out of office space and manufacturing facilities, as well as the installation of a controlled R&D laboratory. GVA Grimley has now been appointed to design and implement the fit-out.
Martin Hoyle, director of building and project management at GVA Grimley, said: “The reconfiguration and refit of the unit at Quedgeley West will ensure that Advanced Insulation has specialist premises that are entirely suited to their specific needs, taking them into the next stage of their development.”

About Gloucestershire
Gloucestershire is divided into the world-famous Cotswolds, the Royal Forest of Dean and the Severn Vale.
The county’s twin urban hotspots are Gloucester and Cheltenham, with larger market towns such as Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cirencester and Lydney proving attractive and popular locations for a diverse range of businesses.
With its long tradition of business achievement, Gloucestershire is attractive to research bases, innovative businesses and organisations of all kinds who need to attract and retain the highest calibre of staff. Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association (CCFRA), Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), and even film special effects company, Snow Business, a favoured supplier to Hollywood, are all based within the county.
Gloucestershire offers a quality of life to businesses and families, which is second to none, with its stunning natural beauty, yet easy access to major urban areas via its natural position as a ‘border county’ with the M4 and M5 intersecting just to the south, providing fantastic access to the north, south, east and west.
